Welcome to the Early Childhood page
Early Childhood is such an important stage in the educational process, and I've always been amazed at the work that the teachers do with kids at this age. I've taught the little ones on occasion, and they can be a handful. EC teachers seem to always be rushed, even more so than their colleagues who teach the older students. I want to work on this page over the next few months to develop the links and come up with some creative ways to use technology with these students. That being said, I happen to be a strong believer in not overdoing the tech with kids at this age. They have so much to do and so much energy that it's a shame to plunk them in front of a computer for 45 minutes like some schools do just to satisfy parents or give their classroom teacher a break.
